Bringing Philosophy Into Campus
The club designed and placed 70+ posters across every table in the NMH dining hall, each one spotlighting a different philosopher from a different culture, gender, or ethnicity. The idea was to take the de-Westernizing push outside the philosophy classroom and put it in front of the whole school where every student would see it.
We hope this was an opportunity for all members of our school community to connect with philosophy in some form. Hopefully, this was a way to make philosophy a more accessible subject where people can find it interesting as much as science and math.
